Cold, Low-level Laser Therapy is also known as Photobiomodulation.  The laser uses a specific wavelength of light, produced as a laser beam, to modulate or change the activity of cells wherever the laser is applied.  Ultimately it leads to decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and quicker healing times.
